Faction 1 (I and IV Day) was declared as the over- all champion during the awarding ceremony of the 44th Founding Anniversary of Agusan Del Sur College (ADSCO) on September 19, 2010.

Faction 1 garnered 3,125 points in the accumulated scores of all the categories during the event. The second highest pointer was Faction 2 (II and III Day) with 2,350 points followed by Faction 3 (I and IV Night) having 2,050 points. The last spot was awarded to Faction 4 (II and III Night) with 1,925 points.

For three consecutive years now, Faction 1 maintained its position as the grand champion. The advisers of Faction 1, Mr. Roel B. Delopre, Ms. Jobith Taladoc and Mr. Wendel C. Federicos were very proud of the result. For the three proud advisers, the trophy that they received only proved that their players and performers showed cooperation, sportsmanship and love of their respective crafts.

The theme of this year's celebration, "ADSCO at 44: Breaking Barriers… Enhancing Capabilities," truly proved that ADSCOnians are breaking obstacles and hindrances to good performance. Congratulations to all for a successful celebration!

Livie C. Vellesas, Jr., a fourth year high school student, won 7th place in Editorial Cartooning - Filipino during the 18th Divisional Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2010 which was held at the Bayugan National Comprehensive High School (BNCHS) last September 24-25, 2010.

Vellesas started honing his craft when he was still a first year student. Every year he joined in journalism contests but he failed to win. He never stopped dreaming that one day his being a cartoonist will be recognized by all. His last year stay in high school is his motivating idea to practice more his skill. The many sleepless nights and tiresome training, together with his school paper adviser, Mr. Wendel C. Federicos, paid off when he was declared as one of the winners in the DSPC ’10. Vellesas could never explain his feelings when he received his award on stage. For him, God prepares something good to all of us in time.

With another recognition given to an ADSCOnian, the whole studentry is so proud of his achievement. His school paper adviser and the administration are elated about this blessing.
