Seven Pesos!
“This was the only money left in my pocket,” said Jay Vonne Elpidas when he was interviewed after joining the competition. He also added that he was not anticipating that he will be crowned as Mr. ADSCO High 2011.
The united reinforcement of the whole faction 3 made him realize not to refuse the huge opportunity to own the prestigious wreath of honor. In the midst of the event, Elpidas didn’t expect that he will be nominated in all the categories; nevertheless, because of the roaring shouts and applause of the audience, eventually he was able to captivate the judge’s hearts. And it was being intensified for he has the overwhelming confidence that the night will be his night for him to build prevalence in the eyes of the people.
Being the fourth child of the family and even without the existence of his father, Elpidas had grown to be a responsible boy. His mother, Mrs. Gemmalyn A. Elpidas is patiently striving to cater all the needs of her children especially when it comes to their education.
This 19 year old young lad reminds us that whatever scarcity we are experiencing in life, we should continue to take the journey and to lose hope to reach the zenith of success.
